I must admit that I am a bit disturbed by the recent weather occurrence. However, this is Minnesota and it is April. I awoke this morning and looked out the window and immediately decided that riding outside would not occur on this day. Instead I chose to punish myself with 3 hrs. 20 min. at the club. All rather hard and satisfying. That should take care of my guilt over missing the Ironman tomorrow due to family commitments. "LaFamilia" is always number one. Well, most of the time.My neice, Mariel, is being confirmed tomorrow and I'm her sponser and honored by that fact. However, I will be thinking about the Ironman and those riding in it tomorrow. It could prove to be an epic affair. Hopefully they will be able to stay dry, hence somewhat comfortable.
I hope everyone else is enjoying the weather.
Maybe next weekend will be....
I'm not even going there.

I saw a group of guys fly by me wearng the LSC jerseys. I was wondering if one of them was you. Now I know you weren't there.
It was a very odd day. I loved being with my family, but at the same time I kept thinking about the guys doing the Ironman. Very bummed out about not making it, but had a great time with the familia. Good laughs, good food, great wine.
