Last night's ride was a great stress reliever. Thirty-two hot, hilly, and dusty miles on the single speed. We are definitely in the midst of a drought...this has been the third driest May on record.
The trails in the park are bone dry, but also very fast. There is rain in the forecast for Sunday so hopefully we will get a good soaker. In the meantime however, I'm looking forward to getting more miles in. No riding tonight as I'll be keeping my brother company at the hospital. He is still in pretty tough shape. Enjoy the weekend and as Grasshopper would say...."Keep the wheels spinning."

I have somehow missed out on getting in any single track this perfect spring. Too many road miles I guess but perhaps this weekend will find the knobbies under me again.
