After the storms and rain went through and stage one of TDF was in the books. I headed out for several hours of riding out around Baker Park, Lake Independence, and St. Boniface.
It turned out to be a fantastic afternoon of riding despite some of the holiday traffic on the roads. As always, the scenery out in this area never disappoints. It was odd to see only solo riders out this afternoon and no groups.
Tomorrow...single track at Murphy. I can hardly wait and can't believe that it has taken me this long to get down there. Today it was heat, humidity, and hills. Tomorrow...riding with the Amigos, single-track, and single-speed. I'm very excited!!
