The reconfiguring is complete and I think that I am going to be very pleased. Salsa Woodchipper mountain drop bars.
They will offer me up multiple hand positions along with a bit more comfort. Theoretically speaking that is. I also shortened up the stem for a more upright and compact riding position.
They appeared much wider, but actually are the same width as the Bontrager carbon risers that I previously used.
I think it looks pretty sweet and excited to get out riding to see how the new setup functions.

Looks nice!
I've been tempted to try Woodchippers on my LHT, but it's not in the cash-flow future. I'd like your thoughts, being a rational, highly gifted teacher like myself. ;)
I am enjoying mine - still messing around with seat position and all that stuff but am excited to get some good miles in on them this fall!
I really like having multiple hand positions. I've been using the Jones H and J bars for a few months now, and it would be hard to go back. I rode my Mary bars recently and it felt weird being locked into one position.
