LIVESTRONG! Since getting into blogging and even before, I've been an avid reader of Elden Nelson's blog "The Fat Cyclist". He's a great writer with superb humor. His blog and other pieces are a joy to read. Fatty's wife has been battling cancer for some time now and recently received news that did not hold a lot of promise. Other bloggers with a passion for cycling have been talking about the emotional connection they feel, along with a great sense of sadness over Susan's struggle with cancer and this most recent news. I've visited his blog several times over the past week or so and have been very moved by their story. If you get a chance, visit his blog and whether you're religious or not, keep Fatty and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
