Family Time

Patti and I had my Mother and Father down for a visit this past week. It's was great to get them away from their home in northern Minnesota to visit us. We had fun visiting, telling stories, and eating good food. My niece Talia really enjoyed spending time with Grandma and Grandpa. She's a real sweet heart.

Patti had to work all week so parts of my parents stay were difficult for her I'm sure. I think she would have loved to have spent more time with them. I have to admit that even at fifty I have a hard time saying goodbye and I did get a bit misty eyed when they left Friday morning.
