Bachelor Weekend

Vito's bachelor for the weekend breakdown. Up at 4:00 A.M. yesterday for a workout at the health club. Ran at 5 A.M. with Grasshopper and Janelle and then we did Grasshopper's spin class afterwards. The profile was three 5 minute sprints, each leading into a 15 minute climb. During the climbs we played jersey trivia. Matt would give the colors of local racing teams or clubs and we would have to guess who they were. If the answer was wrong, the entire class had to pick up the pace by a couple of pedal strokes. Good humored fun!

I spent an exhausting day in school and It has actually been a particular long week at E.B.I.B.W.S. This is the acronym for our educational institute. I'm trying to figure out how we could add a couple more letters. It stands for Earle Brown International Baccalaureate World School. Our grade level has really been working hard on standards alignment within our units of inquiry, fund raising, planning for our three day camp at the end of October, coordinating volunteers, and trying to keep up with paper work and lesson plans. Next week it will be getting all the fundraiser items packaged and ready to deliver to customers... yada, yada, yada.
There are people out there that think we just teach.

I slept until after 8:30 this morning which made me somewhat angry, but I guess the body is speaking. For excitement last night, I detailed the Monocog Flight. It needed it really bad after a week of muddy trails. Yes sir, I know how to enjoy a Friday night when the wife is out of town. Patti is in Chicago this weekend with her sisters and their Mother.
Before

After

After finishing the bike I flipped between the debate and the Twins getting their behinds handed to them by KC Royals. Both very boring. I should have sat down with a good book and a glass of wine instead. This election can't end soon enough as far as I am concerned. I wonder if George Bush is responsible for the Kennedy assassination too. It seems he's responsible for everything else. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan or supporter of the Bush administration in any way, shape, or form. To be honest, there is not a single politician out there that I trust. They are all pretty far down on my respect scale. All of this partisan politics and finger pointing just pisses me off. There is plenty of blame to go around. Oh, and by the way, where the hell is my golden umbrella. Where is the accountability when it comes to the criminal behavior of these so called "f"ing financial institutions. It all makes me want to vomit.

OK, I'm done. I'm glad I got that off my chest. I spent part of my morning walking the dog, doing some laundry, and grading papers. Gosh, I can't tell you enough how I am enjoying my bachelor weekend. The afternoon will be running errands, looking for some bib knickers for riding (please, no comments on this), maybe the Notre Dame game, and possibly some cleaning. Ugh! I can't stand the excitement. Tonight I'm joining my brother and his family for dinner at Buca di Beppo. My sister Gina will also be joining us and needless to say there will be large quantities of pasta and Chianti Classico consumed. Tomorrow....biking and yard work.
Oh the joys of bachelor living.

Well sounds like a good weekend. I am with you on the politicians - they all seem to talk so much shit. Whoever talks the bets shit wins. I hate Bush too, in case you didn't notice, lol.

Help Vito! I need some names for D's fish he just moved in. I am thinking about naming the Green Terror after you Vito. :)
