GRAVEL...

I've spent a good deal of time studying maps and seeking routes over the past few weeks. I have some ideas...all of them long, challenging, and hopefully fun. The bike setup and gear are the next things to look at and I plan on doing these with a minimal amount of gear.

I'm looking forward to attempting some longer self-supported solo rides with no aid stations along the way. Hopefully there will be an occasional gas station or convenience store along the way, but I know there won't be too many up in this neck of the woods, that is for sure. This aspect of the rides will need further examination and planning. I'm also ready to contact Eric about ordering some bags. More later...
