We really had a delightful over night trip to Duluth. While there we purchased some artwork, met and conversed with some interesting folks, took long walks in the rain and snow, ate some good food, and drank some great beer. I also spent a lot of time playing with my new iPhone:)
Looks like a great town. Sounds like a good time. Although I live in a rural area, I can appreciate cityscapes too. I like the photo of the violins all lined up.
Scott ~ Trust me, I would prefer rural anytime. We live in the Twin Cities so any escape north is a good one. If you love the outdoors, Duluth has a lot to offer. Especially with Lake Superior out the front door and North Shore of Lake Superior as well. It truly has a lot to offer. It also has a thriving art community. Thanks also for the comment about the violin photo. Quality wise not the best, but I love the feel of it.
I come from the country, live in the country. Been here my whole life. That said, when I visit places like the Twin Cities or Duluth, I am amazed at the great places that these cities have to offer. Parks, trails and green places are abundant. Some tucked away where most people never know they exist. If I could still enjoy a brew, I would be checking out Fitgers.
