I have heard nothing but good things about these so far. Although it's early it will be an interesting comparison. The mistake I made in ordering my Lakes was not getting them big enough. I could never wear them very long below 20(F) without toe or foot warmers. The Wolvhammers have a wider cut allowing more room.
On that note...Lake has a new version out and I see Bikeman.com is caring them only in the wide sizes. Looks like a solid boot. The buzz is that the Wolvhammer is superior to the Lake...We will see:)
