Before having heart surgery I really wanted to get up to Duluth and ride the beach on Minnesota Point. I have ridden the beach during the cold winter months, but had never enjoyed it during the snow free months. So, on a Saturday morning I woke up at 4 a.m. and made the drive from the Twin Cities to Duluth. It was definitely worth it.
As far as I'm concerned this turned out to be one of the best rides of the year.
The day could not have been more perfect. A great ride followed by a wonderful lunch and a cold beer at one of the local breweries. Splendid indeed.

I've had my mukluk for a couple of years now and have yet to ride on Park Point. I'd better get on it.
