I've just checked the race updates and leader board for the Iditarod Invitational Endurance Race in Alaska. According to the leader board and quite evident by the lack of movement from Jill's Spot Satellite Messenger , both Jill and Geoff have scratched.
Apparently Jill stepped into an overflow and developed a minor case of frostbite. Geoff is apparently having some knee problems. The trail conditions sound very poor. For more you can go to the races latest updates.

This is bad news but does explain why Jill hasn't moved all day.
Update: Jill stepped into some overflow and frostbit some toes. Geoff had some knee issues.
