Last night I got my first taste of gravel for the 2010 cycling season.

After riding the Pugsley for the past couple of months the transition to the road bike and the 29er was rather odd. However, I have to admit that as fast as it went it is nice to see the temperatures rise, the amount of daylight lengthen, and the snow finally melt away exposing dirt.

The 29er was pretty much spotless before, but it now has a very nice thin patina of fresh spring mud upon it.

Riding home and racing the setting sun. The sun won this race and I rode the last half hour back to my car in the dark. I'm feeling that there will be much more of this to come.
