Expanding My Photographic Capabilities

I'm very excited about the new system. Even though it's a DSLR system, it is still fairly light and compact. This of course translates into the ability to carry it in my pack on some of the longer gravel rides up north this summer. That fact, along with the ability to get a bit more creative than the point and shoot allows is very appealing to me. The lenses, which are Tamron lenses are 28-300mm and 17-35mm.

My wife has been encouraging me to do more with my photographic ability. She apparently sees much more ability in my work than I do. Photography has always been a strong interest of mine and it lends itself rather well to cycling.

Another thing that I had considered purchasing was a Wingnut 3.0 pack. It's a low rider system that is excellent for use on a bike. However, I am quite satisfied with my Osprey Talon 22 and 11 packs for the time being.

Summer riding is going to be very interesting this year and I am really looking forward to it.
