Life As It Is & Life As It Will Be

THE PRESENT...

I am really quite pleasantly happy and satisfied with where my life in its current state is at. I'm loving my teaching job, have the "BEST" damn wife in the world. I have a fine stable of bikes to ride with one more on the distant horizon. My free time is now spent riding the new single track, and enjoying my El Mariachi. She really is a fine dancer. In recent weeks I have experienced some set backs in the form of a rather serious illness after Chequamegon and a couple of hard crashes that have left the right side of my body feeling like a giant contusion. But seriously...life could not be better. With everything going seemingly well I can't get over this nagging fear. A fear of impending doom. A fear that life as I know it will soon change and it will.

THE FUTURE...

This is my future...Yes! That is a tandem in the photo, but it is not mine nor was this idea my brainchild. You see, I am somewhat of a normal fellow. Just happily going through life at his own pace. Well, because my amigo Matt woke up one night with an idea, and because his idea, unfortunately involves me, my life is about to change.

So, I just received this photo of the final build. Hopefully I will be able to provide a more detailed look at the stealth "Bat Mobile" in the near future. In the meantime...keep my amigo Matt and I in your thoughts as this should prove to be a very interesting learning experience. The Jew and The Italian may be showing up at a trail near you and it should be quite entertaining. YeeeeeHaaaaa! I'm a stoker!!!!

Good luck, it should be interesting. Personally, I can't think of a single reason to want to be a stoker. But then, I've always gone it alone. That's the way I like it.

Interesting! Ha! Should be damn hilarious. Also, I too prefer to go it alone and can't think of a single reason to be a stoker.

However...friends are friends, and what could it hurt to try? Well...on second thought...

Stoker is Belgian for "smeller of ass" or something like that. Kidding aside, I would like to try a tandem someday. The coordination between the riders must take some time to develop.

I'm not even going to go there :)
