Move over Lance. Bill and Kathi Merchant completed the 1,100 mile Iditarod Trail Invitational. They rode their bikes into Nome at 2:48 a.m. Friday. They spent 25 days 12 hrs. and 58 minutes on the trail to Nome. Kathi is the first woman to complete the entire distance and Bill is the oldest finisher on record. Thanks to Jill for the pic and the news.I think even Fair Weather Kenny would be impressed.
