This has been one of the best Autumns I can remember. The colors and the weather have been phenomenal. I haven't been able to ride since my heart procedure nearly three weeks ago and I just found out today that I will have to have another procedure done to alleviate an atrial flutter that has now developed. My last procedure was for atrial fibrillation. This news has come to me as a huge downer, but I know that I will bounce back from this and be stronger because of it.
In the meantime, I've been spending my time doing a lot of hiking up in Elm Creek Park Reserve, our local gem, and enjoying the Autumn splendor...
Get out and enjoy :)

Gorgeous images as usual, thanks. I don't comment often, but I follow your blog closely. I'm praying for successful treatment, quick recovery, and strong health in your future. Enjoy the remarkable beauty of your locale!
Hang in there, one day at a time.
I'm pleased to hear there are some that still check my blog out. I thought that maybe I was wasting my time ;) Thanks for the compliments and positive thoughts. Greatly appreciated.
A friend just pointed me to your blog. I am impressed! Seeing and hearing of your exploits hits a nerve inside of me that yearns for the open trail. As a displaced Minnesotan living in Missouri I especially appreciate all the love you show for the trails and it helps me get a little MN in! Good luck with you procedure and speedy recovery.
I love your blog! Reminds me of growing up in MN now that I live in Arizona.
Hope all goes well on the treatments!
Raymond and Sarah, Thank you very much for the compliments. Happy you enjoy it :)
